LabDiagram privacy: formulas you type are worked out in your browser and not sent to the server

Last updated October 12, 2026. This policy explains what labdiagram.com handles when you use a figure or calculator or send feedback.

Calculations stay in your browser

Molar mass, molarity and other calculators run on your device. The formulas and numbers you type are not sent to our server or stored.

Server logs

Our server logs your IP address, the time, the page requested, your browser string and the response code. We use them to run the site and stop abuse and delete them after a short time.

The five server log fields LabDiagram keeps briefly: IP address, time, page, browser string and status code

Feedback

If you use the “helpful” or “needs work” buttons and send the form, we store the time, your choice, the page, the topic and any note (up to 1,000 characters). Your IP address is not stored with it; a one-way hash is kept for 20 seconds to slow spam. Please keep personal details out of the note. The newest 300 entries are kept and we delete yours if you Use the contact form, choose “Rights or removal request” and give the page and rough time; the matching entry is deleted.

If you write to [email protected], your message and address are used only to reply, and the thread is deleted when the matter is closed.
